Tying off remaining weave rope - Quick Method

This is probably the best method if you know you will be needing to access the weave rope in the near future, or if you are less concerned about making a handle with the remaining weave rope as is described in the remainder of this tutorial. It is quick and effective, and the method Leo uses most often on his own drums.

Simply turn the drum upside down an place it head down on a clean, preferably soft surface. Tightly wrap the weave rope around the base of the drum, making sure the wraps stack neatly on top of each other. Tuck the end of the weave rope under one of the verticals (not shown in photo - sorry) to keep it from unravelling. Hopefully this helps.
